Waiver of prerequisites
If you are seeking to enrol in a unit for which you expect to have the prerequisites when the current trimester has finished, you do not need to seek a waiver of prerequisites. The system will assume that you will pass all units for which you are currently enrolled. If, after the official results are out, you find out that you in fact failed to achieve the prerequisites, then you need to withdraw from that unit.
If you received a special exam for Torts I, Contracts I or Property I and you passed the assignment in the unit, and you wish to study Torts II, Contracts II or Property II in the following teaching period, the prerequisite for these advanced units may be waived.
In other circumstances, waiver of prerequisites is only exceptionally granted. The prerequisites are there for academic reasons. To apply for a waiver, complete the Waive Pre/Co-requisites form.
