About one-fifth of UNE’s students come from a low socio-economic background, 5% identify as First Nations, and half originate from rural and regional Australia, experiencing the inherent disadvantage that comes with their geography.

For thousands of UNE students, scholarships and emergency assistance are critical to them completing their qualifications and pursuing the careers of their dreams. Enabling them to revolutionise industry, champion the vulnerable, challenge attitudes and inform government policy.
