UNE Tamworth Campus Facilities

UNE Tamworth Facilities

Our study centre is conveniently located in the Tamworth CBD, next to the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall.

UNE Tamworth provides dedicated study spaces, resources and equipment to support UNE students and our local community. Our location features flexible, bookable spaces for community activities, dedicated study areas for students, and staff-friendly spaces.

During weekdays, students and the community can get assistance with any current student needs, future student enquiries, or information about our facilities. Our staff are all local community members, and some are students themselves and are fully equipped to answer or direct any questions.

Our centre is open to the public during business hours on weekdays, with student access after-hours and on weekends. Find out more about us, here.

Room Bookings

Student Bookings

Students who require a private room in which to sit an online exam may request to book a room at UNE Tamworth. Bookings are not required for regular study. Study rooms in UNE Tamworth are on a first-come-first serve basis for all students.

Spaces for exams are limited, so UNE Tamworth cannot guarantee every student a space for their exams. However, if there are no available rooms, please contact us, and our staff will try to accommodate you.

UNE Tamworth EXAM Room Bookings

Note: for online exam bookings
It is preferred that you bring your own computer on which to sit your online exam.
You must come into the centre 1-2 weeks prior to your booked exam to log onto the systems to ensure everything is going to work for your exam, including a Try-It-Out exam for ProctorU exams.
You must arrive with enough time to ensure that you are able to connect and set up correctly, ideally 1 hour prior to the exam’s start time.
UNE do not take any responsibility for any issues which may arise with ProctorU, the internet connection, or your computer.

Staff Bookings

The UNE Tamworth Team welcomes visits from the wider UNE Community. We enjoy the opportunity to share our lovely facilities with as many fellow professional and academic staff are we are able. However, while we do have limited desk spaces available in a shared staff space, we prioritise student bookings of our small study rooms, so their availability is very limited.

UNE Staff who wish to book a private room in UNE Tamworth to work from may make a booking through UNE's online Timetables and Room Bookings system.  These bookings are subject to approval and should only be made in the event that staff require a private room for meetings, lecture recordings, and other confidential conversations.

UNE Tamworth STAFF Meeting Room Bookings

Staff who wish to book our lecture theatres for events or teaching may do so by contacting the UNE Tamworth team at tamworthsc@une.edu.au. Please find further information in UNE Tamworth Venue Hire Information Booklet.
