The UNE Tamworth team are, (left to right) Penny (Student Connect Officer), Beth (Academic Skills Casual), Cath (Our Fearless Leader), Jake (Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator) and Lynn (Tamworth Coordinator). Penny provides students with information and advice for anything related to your enrolment with UNE, and can put you in contact with other UNE teams who specialise in certain areas of enrolment and your studies. Penny can assist with: Lynn can be found right at the front desk with Dave, making sure everything in the place runs smoothly. Lynn has also been a student of UNE, so she is familiar with many of UNE's systems from a student perspective. She understands the difficulties of the student journey, especially those related to mature-aged study, online learning, and balancing work and study. She enjoys talking to students about their journeys, and doing what she can to help make that journey smooth and enjoyable. Come speak to Lynn anytime you need assistance, to report an issue with the Campus, or just to say hi! Jake is a proud Gomeroi/Ngemba man with strong connections to the local Aboriginal community, which he uses to promote and create opportunities for Aboriginal Education through UNE. He is here to connect with your next step in life - to keep the mob moving forward. Come in and have a yarn to him anytime about how we can help you out. Jake promotes UNE Tamworth through events in and around the local community. His relationship with local schools creates the perfect partnership for bringing UNE to the students, and vice versa. Jake has also been instrumental in the creation of a study group for our local Indigenous UNE students, vocally advocating for the needs of our students to learn in a safe and comfortable environment that will be best suited to their learning. If you are interested in learning how to find a pathway to University study through our Indigenous Pathways program, TRACKS, get in touch with Jake here at UNE Tamworth. We are delighted to welcome Cody to the team at UNE Tamworth. The focus of his role is on those students enrolled into UNE's Pathways Enabling Course but he is also available to support Tamworth's student cohort as a whole. He can help you with all your academic needs, from study schedules and navigating MyLearn, to assignment writing, exam prep and even referencing! Cody is keen to meet with Tamworth students in person at our UNE Tamworth Campus. You can book an appointment with Cody online through our booking link, email tamworthstudent@une.edu.au, or drop in for a visit at UNE Tamworth during business hours. Dave's friendly face can be found at the front desk of UNE Tamworth. Dave can give you help with all sorts of issues, from student support enquiries to connecting to the wifi and working the printer. As a fellow UNE student, Dave understands the problems that crop up during student life and enjoys helping our students find solutions. Dave is your first port of call for all enquiries and knows where in the team to direct students, staff and the community to assist with all UNE Tamworth matters.Meet the Team @ UNE Tamworth
