Locations & Opening Hours

You do not need a student card to access UNE Sydney. For our on-campus international students however we highly recommend ordering a card for ID purposes.

211 Church Street, Parramatta

Purpose:

  • Student Support
  • Student self study spaces
  • Rooms available to book for private use

Opening Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday:  8:30am - 9:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Weekends: 10:00am - 6:00pm
  • Opening hours will vary on public holidays and the Christmas break
Level 4, 100 George St, Parramatta

Purpose:

  • Timetabled teaching location for on-campus students
  • Intensives
  • External hire

Opening Hours:

  • Monday – Friday:  9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Only accessible for scheduled teaching

Transport to UNE Sydney

There are so many ways to get to Parramatta, a well-connected city served by bus, train and ferry.

Parramatta is just 24 kilometres from the Sydney CBD and is easily accessed by express train or by Parramatta Road/M4 freeway, Victoria Road, Cumberland Highway or Windsor Road.

Train

Parramatta Station connects to locations all around Sydney. It’s a 30-minute trip from Sydney’s Central Station to Parramatta. There are stations at nearby Harris Park and Westmead, too.

These options require you to obtain an opal card or a credit card to travel

Bus

The city is served by buses to the interchange near Parramatta Station. Bus routes connect Parramatta with other Sydney destinations like Castle Hill, Hornsby, Ryde, Strathfield and the Sydney city centre.

Drive

Please note that there is NO on-campus parking available at UNE Sydney. The closest parking station is Eat St, however this can be expensive. You can also park closeby at Parramatta Westfield with the first 2 hours being free.

Ferry

The F3 Parramatta River ferry service travels from Parramatta Wharf to Circular Quay. Known as the Parramatta RiverCat, these catamarans are a great way to travel to and from Parramatta.

If you wish to book a room for study or for an exam, please email sydney@une.edu.au outlining dates and time requested.

If you are booking for an exam, please ensure you have booked a Try-It-Out exam already and have booked the exam with with ProctorU within our opening hours. We also highly recommend you bring your own laptop.

UNE alumni are able to book rooms to use, please email sydney@une.edu.au outlining dates and time requested.

Please note, after a period of time you will loose internet and printing access so do not rely on having this available.
