Facilities @ UNE Taree

Located in the Taree CBD, UNE Taree is a safe, quiet study space for all UNE Students. If you're finishing off an assignment, catching up on lectures, or just looking for a quiet place to read, the study space you need is right here. For a new student just starting out at UNE, a current student mid-journey, or a visiting student here for family, work or placement, UNE Taree can help you with a range of  facilities, including:

  • Student PC's
  • Eduroam Wifi and access to the AARnet network
  • Printing, scanning and copying facilities
  • Private and open study spaces
  • Bookable exam rooms
  • Student kitchen - with free tea and coffee

Opening Hours

UNE Taree is currently open and staffed:

Monday - Friday (closed on public holidays)

9am - 4pm

* These hours may change at short notice, due to staff commitments outside of the office. We thank you for understanding that our staff maybe busy with students, meetings or community events & activities.

After-Hours Access

The Study Centre after-hours access times for UNE students are:

7 days a week (including weekends, public holidays and trimester breaks)

6:30am - 10:30pm

UNE Taree after-hours access is available to all UNE students. To access this service you will need to have a current UNE Student ID card.

If you do not have a UNE Student ID card, you can apply online.

Contact the UNE Taree team if you have any questions regarding after-hours access.

Room Bookings

Bookings for private study rooms for study or for exams can be made online or by emailing tareesc@une.edu.au outlining dates and time requested.

If you are booking for an exam, please ensure you have booked a Try-It-Out exam already and have booked the exam with ProctorU within the Study Centre access hours. We also highly recommend you bring your own laptop.
