Research Pathways Conference

The University of New England hosts the Research Pathways Conference on an annual basis, where HDR students, but Honours, Coursework Masters and Early Career Researchers have the opportunity to present their research.

Three Minute Thesis Competition

The Three Minute Thesis competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by Doctor of Philosophy students. Developed by The University of Queensland, 3MT cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills.

Research Development Training

Commencing HDR Candidates, you will be required to complete compulsory training modules as part of your degree. Information about the training modules can be found in the Research Development Training Guide.


Intersect Australia

Candidates and supervisors may also attend free training courses delivered by UNE’s training partner Intersect Australia. For more information about training, research support and Intersect services available at UNE, please view the Intersect Australia @ UNE webpage.
