Rural, Regional and Remote Education
Rural, Regional and Remote Strategic Research Group
The Rural, Regional and Remote Education Research Group is a long-standing research network in the School of Education at UNE. As the oldest regional university in Australia, we are well placed to undertake this work and encourage interest form higher degree research candidates as well as interdisciplinary academics at UNE.
One-third of Australians live in rural, regional, or remote areas. It is vital that quality research is directed towards the experiences of children, young people and teachers living and learning in these communities. Our diverse group of scholars focus on multiple aspects of educational research in rural, remote and regional areas.
