Language, Literacy and Pedagogy Strategic Research Group

Thisresearch group builds on our existing expertise in language development, and language and literacy pedagogies. Bringing together researchers from the Schools of Education and HASS, we will draw on our collective theoretical knowledge and practical experience in a range of contexts, including school and adult education, regional and remote settings, and particularly with EAL/D, Indigenous and migrant learners. Our aim is to build a research agenda in collaboration with educators in various educational sites to explore self-efficacy and pedagogic effectiveness, specifically through text-based approaches to teaching language and literacy across a range of disciplines.
