Biography
Maria is a member of the Department of Globalisation, Leadership and Policy in the School of Education. Prior to this current role Maria worked in the Oorala Aboriginal Centre at UNE as part of a Team focused on supporting Indigenous students achieve at University. Previously Maria has worked as an Aboriginal cultural heritage management specialist with her most recent work of this type being situated in the coal mining area of the Hunter Valley where she worked with Native Title claimants to record their cultural landscape values in land subject to development.
