Furthering your research interests
As a graduate, you may be considering further studies to extend your area of professional interest or research.
Master of Education (Research) (MEdR) is a research pathway which may lead directly into Doctoral programs.
Your research proposal
Students enrolled in research degrees (PhD or EdD) within the School of Education are required to develop a detailed research proposal.
If you are a MEd Hons student, you have the first six months of your course to develop your proposal or 12 months if you are a part-time candidate.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students are expected to develop a proposal and within the first 12 months, or 24 months for part-time candidates.
Doctor of Education (EdD) students are expected to develop a proposal within six months after initial enrolment.
