First Aid Including CPR
This course meets the requirements of HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid. The Provide First Aid training certificate is valid for 3 years and the Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation unit is valid for 12 months in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Guidelines.
Purpose:
This course covers everything from basic first aid skills for minor injuries to emergency first aid procedures used in life threatening situations.
Suitable for:
All persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
- This course is suitable for first time First Aiders and those that are renewing their First Aid certificate.
- This course in mandatory for all UNE staff members who perform the role of First Aid Officer or First Aider.

Pre-Requisites:
This is a blended learning course. Participants are expected to complete an online self-directed component prior to attending the session. An email with the relevant link will be sent directly from the trainer to course participants two weeks prior to the session date.
Please note: You will not be allowed to attend the face to face training without completing the online component.
