WHS Induction

Staff log into MyLearn and complete their WHS General Induction via MyLearn.

For new staff you will be required to provide a copy of your WHS General Induction Certificate (this will be emailed to you on completion or can be downloaded from MyLearn at any time). The certificate will need to be provided to your supervisor upon completion and UNE Safety and Security to be issued your ID Staff Access Card.

Staff also follow the guidance below to commence the UNE Emergency Warden Training within KeepSafe.

Staff Launch Keep Safe

Contractors will need to have a KeepSafe account before they can complete their required induction/s. See your Supervisor if you have not been allocated a KeepSafe account.

Important note for contractors:

• You are required to complete this induction every 12 months.
• Your Contractor ID card will only be valid for the period you have a valid induction.
• Buildng access will be restricted via UNE swipe cards.
• Once you complete the relevant induction, a certificate will be generated by email, and you must provide the certificate to Safety and Security to be issues a UNE swipe card. You should carry this card with you at all times when attending a UNE campus/site.

WHS Contractor & Visitor Induction, WHS Laboratory Induction for cleaners, UNE Smart Farms- External Users Induction and Building Warden Part A Inductions are completed via Keep Safe.

Contractors can also complete the following inductions within Keep Safe once they have reviewed the guidance below and their Keep Safe account has been generated.

From the Keep Safe Dashboard click on the tile "Complete Other Functions" selecting "Contractors & Visitors" and then "Inductions".

• UNE Laboratory Induction for Cleaners
• UNE SMART Farms- External Users Induction

Launch Contractor Keep Safe

Visitors or vounteers will need to have a KeepSafe account setup before they can complete their induction/s. See your UNE host or UNE supervisor if you have not been allocated KeepSafe access.
