What is UNESAFE Learning?

UNESAFE Learning is the University’s safety training library. Most UNESAFE Learning packages are e-learning and packages are completed via My Learn or Keep Safe. Safety training packages are continually being developed and are available to all staff, students, contractors and visitors.

If you have specific training needs or if your business unit has existing training that can be hosted in UNESAFE Learning please contact the UNESAFE Team.

First Aid and CPR

UNE offers nationally accredited First Aid and CPR training to ensure staff are equipped to respond to medical emergencies.

  • First Aid Including CPR (HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid) – Covers essential first aid skills for minor injuries and life-threatening situations. Includes 12 months CPR training. 
    • Suitable for first-time First Aiders and those renewing their certification.
    • Mandatory for UNE First Aid Officers and First Aiders.

Emergency Warden Training

Emergency Warden Training is delivered in two parts. This training is MANDATORY for Wardens with Part A completed as a theory lesson for all staff or students and Part B is practical training. For more information, please refer to Emergency Warden Training.

Ergonomics and Setting up your Workstation Safely
