Contract Processes

All contracts, agreements, leases, licenses, MOUs, and confidentiality agreements to be signed on behalf of UNE must be reviewed and approved by Legal Services before signing. UNE Legal Services needs at least 7 business days for review and advice. Notify Legal Services if the contract has a signing deadline upon submission.

Non-UNE template contracts often need amendments and further negotiation, so manage your timeline to allow at least 28 days from submission to signing. Executive Leadership requires at least 3 business days to sign a contract.

A Contract Approval Form is required for all contracts.
