First Aid Officers are appointed across the University campus to provide First Aid assistance as required, within their work environment, and in special circumstances, to surrounding work environments (e.g. in a major critical incident).

At UNE, a First Aider (otherwise known as First Aid Officer) is a person who has successfully completed a nationally accredited training course or an equivalent level of training that has given them the competencies required to administer First Aid.

First Aid Officers should provide their contact details on the Workplace Safety Noticeboard relevant to their work area.
