The University acknowledges that contractors accessing campus contribute significantly to campus services. Due to this close working relationship with staff, and other University stakeholders, contractors are required to share the University’s commitment to ensuring the health and safety of staff, students and the wider community is protected at all times.
Likewise, visitors are instrumental in supporting and collaborating with UNE through participation in research and collaborative work, or events, for example, and are also asked to help the University ensure the health and safety of staff, students and the wider community.
- If you are feeling unwell or you have tested positive for COVID-19, please don’t come to a UNE campus or site until your symptoms are gone.

To support the important role contractors play in the University’s COVID Safe Plan, UNE requires contractors and visitors and their staff to undertake the following before attending campus*: *Contractors will be required to undertake this once, unless otherwise requested by the University due to changes in restrictions. Each contractor attending campus is required to undertake these measures. To support the University’s COVID Safe Plan, contractors and visitors attending campus are required to take the appropriate measures to safeguard the University workforce by being aware of, and abiding by, current regulations relating to COVID-19.
