Unit information
Implementing an organisation-wide cyber security change involves commitment from all levels of management, as well as internal and external stakeholders. To achieve this, organisations often need to fundamentally shift their paradigm to acquire a cyber mindset.
Studying this unit, you will explore the complexities of dealing with all stakeholders when trying to maintain a secure environment. You will also examine what a cyber mindset means in the 21st Century in the context of the ever-emerging digital business environments.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- critically evaluate various organisational culture change methodologies with emphasis on implementing best cyber practices;
- review and interpret the different stakeholder involvement and responsibilities for a successful cyber mindset;
- critically evaluate the nature of a cyber mindset from an individual, organisation-wide and global perspective; and
- analyse and critically evaluate culturally different cyber mindsets.
