If recent events have taught us anything, it’s that we never know what’s just around the corner. Becoming better equipped to cope with change is something we all face, and UNE is helping people rise to the challenge of becoming future fit, with a range of new short courses.

UNE’s undergraduate certificates are aimed at helping you gain new work-ready skills for your current role, transition into a new career, or provide you with a stepping stone into other qualifications at UNE.

All are fully online, giving you the flexibility to learn whenever and from wherever you are, they can be completed in as few as 12 weeks, and eligible students can defer payment through HECS-HELP.

How do they work?

Each Undergraduate Certificate consists of four units, including a core unit. When you have completed all four subjects, you will receive a UNE qualification, setting you on a path to employment, career change or advancement, or further study.

You may also be eligible to apply for a range of diploma or bachelor courses, and receive credit for completed units based, depending on which specialisation you choose to pursue.

How much do they cost?

Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) and HECS-HELP loans are available to eligible domestic students.

A Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) is a government subsidised place in a university course, where the government pays a contribution directly to the university for part of your tuition fees, and you pay the remainder which is known as the ‘student contribution amount’.

You can take out a HECS-HELP Loan for the student contribution amount of your course, and defer payment until you are earning above the compulsory repayment threshold.
