Biography

I have worked as a graphic designer for 30 years in a wide variety of areas: Printing Publishing, the Leisure Industry (poker machines), Multi Media and Education.

Teaching was a great passion and I spent 14 years teaching graphic design at TAFE in Armidale to IT, Visual Art and Graphic Design students. During this time I built up the Graphic Design course, assisted with recruitment, mentored staff liaised with industry, and maintained collaboration with other design courses offered at TAFE within NSW.

I am also an artist and have exhibited my work locally in single and group exhibitions. The mediums I enjoy are acrylic, mixed media and pen.

My current position as Online Learning Designer at UNE brings together my skills as a teacher and graphic designer to produce a very wide variety of materials for the online educational needs within TaL.
