Biography

James Preston holds a degree of Animal Science and Management from The University of Melbourne and completed a PhD in fibre Science from the Institute of Frontier Materials at Deakin University. Previously, James has held roles within the NSW Department of Primary Industries working on topics associated with the importance of wool quality in the Australian wool industry. James specialises in research in fibre quality, and sheep and wool production and has a keen interest in these areas.
