Transport issues relating to indigenous residents of the New England and North-west regions of New South Wales

This study began by identifying agencies and users with a stake in the issue of indigenous transport in the New England and north-west regions. Quantitative and qualitative inventories of the transport resources available for indigenous residents of the region, and the conditions under which they are able to be used, were compiled. Interviews were held with a wide selection of stakeholders. New and existing data relevant to the issues were collected and analysed, and a Report on the transport needs and resources of indigenous residents was prepared for the Regional Transport Coordinator.
