Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- review critically, analyse and synthesise the law relevant to health care practice;
- review critically, analyse and synthesise the underlying ethical principles pertinent to health care practice;
- present a clear, coherent and independent exposition of the advocacy roles and responsibilities of health professionals; and
- apply relevant law and ethical principles with initiative and judgement in planning, problem solving and decision making in professional practice.
