Unit information
This unit aims to equip you with the foundational tools to solve a wide variety of real-world agricultural problems.
Split into flexible modules, it allows you to focus on specialised areas of interest and develop a solid understanding of how science is used in agriculture.
You'll develop your problem solving, information literacy and communication skills, learning from a variety of workplace examples from agricultural scientists.

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
- apply theoretical knowledge in agricultural science to solve real world problems;
- solve a range of problems relevant to agriculture through scientific enquiry including chemical safety; and
- observe, interpret and apply verbal and written communication to articulate agricultural solutions.
