College meal options

More flexibility than ever

There are now more options than ever before for self-catered living within our traditional colleges. Austin College is now completely self-catered, but remains a traditional college in all other aspects. Earle Page College offers options of either catered or self-catered (D block only), and Mary White College's self-catering accommodation has been expanded to a second block.

Meal options for college residents

Self-catered accommodation

Fully self-catered accommodation is offered at Austin College, and Wright College & Village.

Mary White and Earle Page Colleges also have self-catered options in specific blocks, with a dedicated block kitchen.

Walter's Cafe is located in Austin College's dining hall, and offers affordable cafe meals to college residents and the wider UNE community. Other on-campus meal options include Booloominbah's restaurant and cafe, Cafe Life, The 'Stro, Sport UNE and the Natural History Museum's cafe.

Catered accommodation

If you're a resident of Duval, Robb, or Mary White or Earle Page's catered blocks, your accommodation fee includes a meal package of five evening dinners — from Sunday to Thursday.

Robb College residents also receive five lunches, Monday to Friday.

Meals for college residents, conferences and events are provided by catering contractor, Compass.

Communal kitchens have been fitted into Duval, Robb, Earle Page, and Mary White. So, in addition to the college meal package and plan, you have the flexibility to cook and prepare meals as desired. Residents can access this facility seven days a week.

A fully-catered option is also available from St Albert's College, a privately owned college located adjacent to the UNE campus.
