Biography

Clare Edwards interests include pasture, soil and landscape management. For 17 years she was an agronomist with NSW Department of Agriculture and NSW Department of Primary Industries based in the Armidale District. She is currently employed by the Central Tablelands Local Land Services based at Mudgee, NSW. Her research is based around the soil – pasture – animal and landscape interfaces. She has been involved with the delivery of Prograze, Landscan and Paddock Plants workshops. Clare was also part of The Cicerone Project and the UNE – NSW DPI livestock emission project. She is part ofthe UNE Precision Agriculture Research Group and is enthusiastic about enhancing our knowledge of how Precision Ag can work in grazing systems. Ms Edwards extension role is important in delivering research messages. She has been involved with designing and developing many extension workshops and courses.
