Research Services

Research Services manages all matters related to Higher Degree Research and provides a range of services to assist both supervisors and students. Information and advice can be sought on candidature, supervision, publication, intellectual property, ethics, grants, examination, graduation and scholarships for Higher Degree Research Students.

Student Assist

All students of UNE are entitled to use the services offered through Student Assist. This is an integrated service with staff who work together, when necessary, to ensure that you can have as smooth a passage as possible through your degree and into future employment.

Academic Skills Office

The Academic Skills Office (ASO) is UNE's learning support unit and is part of the Teaching and Learning Centre. We are here to help you to succeed and excel in your studies. Dixson Library

Dixson Library is the central library on the UNE campus. The University Library provides a range of services for UNE staff and students. In addition, the Library serves members of the wider community.

  • Eskills Plus is an online program for posgraduate students comprised of modules related to research skills, mastering the literature, Endnote (EndNote is an almost indispensable tool for the serious researcher. And best of all, its free to all UNE postgraduates!), and career development.
