Wright College Scholarship
We are delighted to introduce Sophie Smith, our 2026 Wright College & Village Scholarship recipient. Now in her first year of Nursing and living at Wright Village, Sophie is making the most of the on-campus lifestyle as she works towards her dream of practising in Central Australia. Life hasn't been without its hurdles; coming from a rural property northwest of Port Macquarie, her family has braved the impacts of drought, fires, and floods. But despite this, Sophie’s resilience shines through her work as a volunteer firefighter and her dedicated fundraising for her local community. For Sophie, this scholarship has contributed significantly to her ability to come to UNE and pursue her dreams.
To ensure we can continue to help students like Sophie, please donate to the Wright College Scholarship Fund below.
