2nd - 4th October 2026

In 1956, Wright College began its journey as a cornerstone of the UNE residential experience. Seven decades later, Wright College & Village stands as a testament to the thousands of students who have called it home. We invite all alumni and former residents to join us from 2–4 October 2026 for our 70th Reunion weekend. This significant anniversary is a time to honour our traditions, celebrate our growth, and acknowledge the enduring impact our residents have made across the globe. Join us as we celebrate 70 years of community in the heart of the New England.

A central Wright College Marquee will be set up at the Wright Centre (the former Dining Hall) as our meeting point throughout the weekend. We have an engaging program planned, with minibuses organised for our various tours and trips.

Previous proposals for a tour to Peterson's winery and Saumarez Homestead have had to be abandoned because both venues are booked out for weddings that weekend.  We are now offering a town tour (with a guide) and a bush walking tour as options on Saturday morning and afternoon.  We have buses organised for the weekend.

So, dust off your college photos and clear your calendar! We look forward to welcoming you back to Armidale.

Reunion Program

Friday, 2 October

  • 6:00pm - 10:00pm: Friday evening Informal dinner at Royal Hotel: A casual gathering at the Royal Hotel (own cost).

Saturday, 3 October

  • 9:00am - 12:00pm:
    • Option 1: Saturday morning walk at the Blue Hole - Limited seating small bus | $10
    • Option 2: Saturday morning town tour - Limited seating small bus with guide | $20
  • 12:00pm - 2:00pm: BBQ Lunch - Wright College | $30
  • 2:00pm - 5:00pm:
    • Option 1: Saturday afternooon walk at Dumaresq Dam - Limited seating small bus | $10
    • Option 2: Saturday afternoon town tour - Limited seating small bus with guide | $20
  • 6:00pm - 10:00pm: Reunion Dinner - Robb College dining room (formerly Earle Page College dining hall)

Sunday, 4 October

  • 9:00am - 1:00pm:  Sunday Brunch - BBQ at Wright College (self serve) to farewell friends | $25
