Yinga Kara, an Anaiwan word for ‘my path’ is all about getting you ready to start your studies at UNE.

For all Commencing Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students.

Come along to Yinga Kara orientation and discover everything Oorala has to offer! Over two days you will meet other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, your academic coordinators, work through any enrolment questions and learn everything you need to start your studies with confidence.

Most importantly, you'll make new friends, build your support network, and have plenty of fun along the way. We can't wait to welcome you to the Oorala community!

The Oorala Centre will assist you with the essentials - including accommodation, meals and financial travel assistance so you can focus on building the foundations for your studies and future success.
