We are proud of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who will graduate in 2020.
In light of recent recommendations by the Federal Government, the University of New England will not be holding the Autumn (May) or Spring (August) Graduation Ceremonies that were planned for may and August, 2020.
Students expected to graduate at the Spring Graduation will be emailed detailing your options regarding future ceremony attendance and your graduation documents. Please see the Graduation Supporting Information for Students page for information about what this decision means for graduands.
The graduation dates for the Schools is below.

|Saturday 12 December||Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law|
An Indigenous Sashing Ceremony
Oorala holds a Sashing Ceremony on each Graduation Day, to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students’ academic achievements alongside other Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students. This is held prior to the Graduation Ceremony in the Oorala Lecture Theatre. Oorala Staff will be on hand to assist and direct you on where you need to be.
