Join us for a special celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and community.

We have a number of activities for you to get involved in: a Weaving Yarning Circle where you can learn how to create your own baskets from local fibres or you can spend some time helping to paint a new mural that will be installed on one of Oorala's external walls.

Callum Clayton-Dixon will be hosting a talk on the Anewan language, Bob Blair will be showing us some of his dance moves and the Library will be setting up a story telling with activitiesto go with them area.

After the Smoking Ceremony and the dance performance there will be a Sausage Sizzle Lunch for all to share in.

Bring your friends and family for a fun and enriching experience. Let’s come together to honor and celebrate the rich heritage of our Indigenous communities.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic event! See you there! 👋
