South Asia Bursary
UNE offers eligible commencing international students a bursary in the form of a 20% fee reduction of the published 2026 annual international tuition fees for their first year of study.
After receiving a bursary for their first year of study, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7.0 scale at the end of each academic year to be eligible to continue receiving the bursary in their next year of study. If students meet the GPA requirement, then they will keep receiving the yearly bursary until the end of the normal duration of their course. These students will be identified by UNE International and reported to Student Accounts.
International bursaries are only available for students enrolling in the Armidale campus in 2026. Students enrolling at UNE Sydney will not be eligible for an international bursary.

UNE also has a range of Scholarships and other Financial Support that will allow you to study at the state's top university for Student Support and Teaching Quality. Upon assessment, you may be able to package a bursary with a scholarship.
Accommodation Scholarships
The UNE International Student Accommodation Scholarships are for full-time, on-campus international students commencing studies at the University of New England Armidale campus in 2026. Scholarships are not available for couples or students accompanied by their families.
