Important dates
Trimester 1 2024 (February)
- Accommodation Scholarship applications for Trimester 1, 2024 close at 5 pm AEDST Monday 29 January 2024.
- The date by which an Accommodation Scholarship Offer must be accepted is by 5 pm AEDST Monday 12 February 2024.
- Scholarship applications and/or acceptances for Trimester 1, 2024 will NOT be considered after these dates.
What is included in the scholarship offer?
- Accommodation fees for a single student for a maximum of two (2) academic trimesters, valued up to AUD$4,000. Please note that Accommodation Scholarships are not available to couples or students with families.
- Fully furnished residential student style college room with single bed, desk & wardrobe.
- Utility costs (electricity, heating, water).
- Free internet and Wi-Fi access.
- Campus Security 24-hours, 7-days per week.
- Dedicated Residential Student Support, including academic support and tutoring.
- One free airport or train station transfer after arrival into Armidale.
- Residential orientation, activities, and special events.
What is not included in the scholarship offer?
- Meals.
- Linen, blankets, etc.
- Each student’s individual AUD$1,500 contribution across two trimesters of the scholarship.
How to apply
- Apply for your UNE course via the Application Portal.
- Obtain an Offer of Admission to UNE (Accommodation Scholarship is exclusive to the Armidale campus).
- Complete the online UNE International Student Accommodation Scholarship application form and once you have your Offer of Admission and have met all admission conditions.
- Accept your Offer of Admission and receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
- UNE will advise you of the outcome of your Accommodation Scholarship.
- Register in the UNE Accommodation Portal
- Pay your student contribution as directed by UNE’s Residential College staff.
