Tullimba Smart Farm

A 1000 head research feedlot on 740 hectares, located an easy 40 minute drive from the UNE Campus. This facility has the capacity to undertake research in cattle nutrition, environmental management, animal welfare and much more. The Centre for Animal Research and Teaching (CART)

With up-to-date equipment and adaptability for both small and larger scale projects it is ideal for work with poultry, small ruminants and even cattle. CART comprises animal housing and handling facilities, with allied laboratories providing support for research and teaching.
