The Clinic accepts referrals from medical practitioners, paediatricians, school counsellors, psychologists, mental health clinicians, social workers, psychiatrists, neurologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, dietitians and Community Services.
Referral Service Area
Due to demand for services in our area, the Clinic only accepts referrals for residents of the following regions of NSW:
- New England North West
- Central & Far West
- North Coast
- Mid-North Coast
Making a referral
Referrals for treatment and assessment services must be made in writing.
Self-referrals are accepted for treatment services only. Referrals for assessment services must be made in writing by a primary healthcare provider or relevant allied health provider.
Referrals to the Clinic are strictly confidential and are subject to an intake and approval process.
All consultations are by appointment only.
Waiting times*
The Clinic has two intake periods per year (February to June and July to December), which align with the placement of trainees.
Once a referral is accepted, the client is placed on the relevant waiting list for that service. Clients will be given an indication of an approximate waiting time. Earlier appointments may arise, where cancellations have occurred from the waiting list.
