Course Structure & Workload
All UNE coursework units require a workload of 10–12 hours per 6 credit points. Many students elect to reduce external commitments during intensive or placement periods. Some components—such as Intensive Schools and certain clinical skills activities—are mandatory and must be attended at scheduled times. Intensive Schools are typically held twice a year—around Easter and August. Check your Intensive School dates early to ensure you can attend. Please look up your course within the Course Handbook, and refer to the 'Course Plans' section. All coursework is delivered online. For Clinical students, PSYC534 and PSYC535 placement units must be conducted in-person. Yes. Once your enrolment is processed, you will receive access to the myLearn Community site. You will be notified via your UNE email address. 1 week prior to the start of the trimester, you will be given access to myLearn unit sites. New Clinical (Advanced Entry) students: There may be a short delay in gaining access. Please begin organising your placement using the Getting Started page (link in your Welcome Email) rather than waiting for myLearn access. How do I access MyLearn? Log on to your Units via myUNE.
