Oorala Centre, 'A Place Where People Come Together' - Home


Welcome,

The Oorala Aboriginal Centre is a study support and advisory centre for internal and external Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at the University of New England.
We offer Academic advice, Tutorial assistance, a Computer Room, a Resource library, Tutorial rooms and a Student Common Room for relaxation and study. The Centre also runs the multi-award-winning tertiary preparation program, TRACKS, and the Alternative Entry Program, ISP.

Events and Programs at the Oorala Aboriginal Centre

• NAIDOC Week Celebration: starts Monday, 6 July 2009, 10:30am - Booloominbah Lawns - For more information, download the NAIDOC program (.pdf)

• ITAS tutorial support forms now online.

• TRACKS Tertiary Preparation program - applications for admission to studies in Semester 2, 2009 are now open. To find out more, please contact staff at the Oorala Aboriginal Centre or access the TRACKS link in the menu on the left.

• Former TRACKS student wins scholarship to study in China. Read more.
