Titles and Abstracts for Graduation Purposes

Both the short abstract and thesis title appearing in graduation documents must not include:
- Italics
- Bold
- Subscript and superscript
- Symbols
These restrictions exist due to the digital production of AHEGS and transcripts in My eQuals.
Note: The abstract within the thesis itself is not restricted by word count or formatting elements.
Research Data Submission (RUNE)
As required by the Research Data Management Policy, all original data or primary research materials relevant to the candidates' research must be lodged with the University repository, RUNE.
If the candidate does not have data or primary research material to submit relevant to the research to lodge a formal exception must be granted by the RUNE Team.
Physical samples and other supplementary material that cannot be digitised should be included with your RUNE data submission as a metadata file. Consult with your supervisor for information about where the material will be physically stored, this information can then be included in the metadata submission.
Should there be any questions in relation to dataset or the data/information to be included or an exemption request, please contact the RUNE team directly.
The Graduate Research School and the candidate will receive a confirmation email from the RUNE team confirming that the data has be uploaded/or exemption is in place.
