Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person with professional work or community experience?

Perhaps you have some formal qualifications but don’t know if these will qualify you for entry to UNE. Let us work with you to determine what you need to collate your entry documentation and advise on what to do next. Oorala staff will work with you every step of the way!

Our Guarantee
Candidates who meet the requirements will be offered a place in an undergraduate degree at UNE, subject to any additional requirements.

Candidates who do not yet meet the requirements for entry to UNE via the Internal Selection Program will be offered a place in the TRACKS tertiary preparation program.

Application Dates

  1. For Trimester 1 (T1) 2026 Entry:
    • Official T1 Teaching Start Date: Monday, February 23, 2026
    • Application Period Opens (3 months prior): Monday, November 23, 2025
    • Application Period Closes (3 weeks prior): Monday, February 2, 2026
    • Assessment Period: November 23, 2025 – February 2, 2026
  2. For Trimester 2 (T2) 2026 Entry:
    • Official T2 Teaching Start Date: Monday, June 22, 2026
    • Application Period Opens (3 months prior): Monday, March 23, 2026
    • Application Period Closes (3 weeks prior): Monday, June 1, 2026
    • Assessment Period: March 23, 2026 – June 1, 2026
  3. For Trimester 3 (T3) 2026 Entry:
    • Official T3 Teaching Start Date: Monday, October 19, 2026
    • Application Period Opens (3 months prior): Monday, July 20, 2026
    • Application Period Closes (3 weeks prior): Monday, September 28, 2026
    • Assessment Period: July 20, 2026 – September 28, 2026
