Welcome to the UNE Tamworth community! UNE Tamworth facilities, services and resources are available to all students living in, studying from or visiting the Tamworth region.

In addition to the online orientation program, Students studying in the Tamworth region are able to attend some in-person events to assist you in getting to know everything you need to know before commencing your studies, and to put some faces to the names that you’ll come across whilst studying with us.

Getting Started Session – Group Welcome Session

Date & Time: 5pm-7pm, Tuesday 27th February

Location: Peel House, 24 Fitzroy Street, Tamworth

Getting started studying online can be hard, especially if you haven't studied in a while. That's why we run Getting Started Sessions at UNE Tamworth for all students. Come and join us for a run-down on how to get started with your studies at UNE, with advice on everything from enrolment to graduation, and everything in-between.

UNE Tamworth Student Success and Academic Support staff will be there, running support workshops and activities throughout the support session. Students will have the opportunity to talk with staff one-on-one, ask questions, get personalised assistance, and get to know the people who will be helping you through this journey. We'll also be running tours of UNE Tamworth's facilities, verifying IDs for Student Cards, and making fresh cups of coffee for everyone.

Getting Started – Individual Session If you can’t make the group session, start your studies with success and book an in-person, one-on-one session where you’ll learn about your study, how to log in to and navigate myLearn, access library resources, as well as any other questions you might have from our friendly UNE Tamworth Support Staff. To book, click on the 'Tamworth Getting Started Sessions' below.
