UNE Regional Study Centre Network

UNE's Regional Study Centres in NSW have been established using Capital Development Pool Funding allocated to UNE by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training.

In addition to our sites at UNE Tamworth, UNE Taree and UNE Sydney (Parramatta), UNE has a network of Regional Study Centres across New England and North West NSW.

Student Support @ UNE Regional Study Centres

The Tamworth and Regions team, based at UNE Tamworth provide support for online students studying across the New England North West. Based out of UNE Tamworth, the team is available via phone, email, Zoom and AskUNE. The team visits the Regional Study Centres regularly to meet with students individually, or to run group sessions and meetings.

Through the Regional Study Centre Network, students can access:

  • Student PC's and printing facilities
  • eduroam Wifi and access to the AARNet network
  • BYO device workstations
  • Direct phone link to UNE academic and professional staff
  • Extend access to study space

Access to UNE Regional Study Centres

All Regional Study Centres are accessible 24/7

To access Regional Study Centres, students need a current UNE student ID card.

UNE students are required to read and respect all signage in and around the Study Centres, particularly those signs related to access to adjacent TAFE spaces. UNE students may not access those spaces outside of the times these TAFE campuses are open.
