Sophos Home is offered as a free and paid edition, the free edition is a product can be be installed on staff home computers and student computers if you are looking for an option for free antivirus software ( see the below headings for more information ).

The University is providing FREE antivirus software for Student and Staff Personal (Home) Computers (Sophos Home)
Follow the step-by-step instructions on the Sophos Home website to set up an account and to download and install. After that, Sophos automatically updates its antivirus database while you remain a student or staff member – saving you hundreds of dollars!
Please go to https://home.sophos.com/ to get started.
Note: The installer on the Sophos page will install Sophos Home with a 30-day trial of Sophos Premium. After 30 days, the license will revert back to Sophos Home - your computer will still be protected at this point, even if you don't opt into the Premium subscription.
Step 2: Use you UNE email address to register for your account.
Step 3: Check your UNE email for the confirmation email and click on the link on the email to activate your account.
Step 4: You will be taken back to the Sophos Home login page. Login with your password to finalise the account set up.
Follow the instructions on-screen to install Sophos Home on your current device (and on additional devices if required)
