Studying at UNE through OUA

Welcome OUA students to UNE!

At the University of New England (UNE) we are committed to supporting your student journey with flexible online study options in partnership with Open Universities Australia (OUA).

Enrolment

If you are studying through OUA, either in a UNE/OUA Degree or in OUA’s Open Access you will need to enrol in and withdraw from units directly through the OUA website.

For enrolment and withdrawal issues please reach out to the OUA Student Advisors for support.

You will receive a Welcome Letter and Enrolment Summary emails from UNE at the email address you registered with OUA. Your Welcome Letter will include the steps needed to register your account with UNE and further information about getting started.

It is important to note that OUA enrolment and applications close earlier than at UNE:

📅 Last day to enrol in OUA units: Trimester 2, 15 June 2025

🔔 Reminder

To avoid financial penalties, students must withdraw from units by the relevant census date within a Trimester.

To avoid academic penalties, students must withdraw from units by the relevant withdrawal without academic penalty date

Welcome to the OUA Digital Orientation at the University of New England! This program is designed to help you navigate your studies, connect with resources, and start your UNE student journey with confidence.
