Cameron is Director of Employee Relations and Injury Management in the ACT Public Service, leading and managing a team who support various conduct and performance management processes, including preliminary assessments, misconduct and sanction determinations, underperformance plans, and probation reports.

Cameron provides advice and support to management and staff to ensure compliance with employment frameworks and create a positive working environment. “I strive to enhance the capability of both managers and staff via an engage and educate approach in all my interactions. I have a keen focus on business improvements; and love dealing with the problems put in the 'too-hard' basket by others, and coming up with innovative solutions.”

Having studied both on campus and online at UNE, graduating with a Bachelor of Business in 2018, Cameron gained the skills and flexibility to navigate a dynamic career in the public service. As an Alumni Ambassador Mentor, Cameron is committed to supporting the next generation of UNE graduates by sharing his insights into building successful careers in human resources, employee relations, and public sector leadership.
