If you are new to the field of Science, the UNE Diploma in Science is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) course designed to build scientific literacy and foundational skills and knowledge in a range of scientific disciplines. You will graduate from this course with a broad scientific background, communication skills and problem-solving skills to assist with further study and future employment.

The Diploma in Science offers both guidance and flexibility. You'll complete four core science foundations units, then either select from a broad list of units in the General Studies in Science major or focus on a specific interest by choosing from our wide range of Minors.
