A career in Law
Legal professionals are always in demand and people with qualifications in law can take advantage of wide range of career opportunities across many industries.
My most rewarding experience has been as President of the Law Students’ Society. All the law staff have been more than willing to include me in discussions and given me guidance when needed.
The intellectual challenge of studying law appealed to me, as I was eager to enhance my problem-solving skills and develop my practical understanding of my society and its functions.
The legal skills I learnt, particularly in the first couple of years of the degree, I was able to apply straight away.
According to the Australian Government's Employment Projections, demand for legal professionals will grow by 21.6% by 2033, with an estimated 25,300 new roles ready for qualified specialists in law.
