Robb College Scholarships

2030 will mark the 70th year since Robb College was established on the University of New England’s Armidale campus.

The demand by young people to come to Robb is high and they are excelling in many areas. Robb offers a healthy balance between academic excellence as well as social, sporting and community involvement activities. These play a big part in the development of a student and their exposure to life experiences which they will call upon for many years to come in many facets of life.

Our Scholarship Plan

Due to generous support from our Alumni plus employer partners, we are building concurrent pathways of scholarships and prizes for each year a student resides in Robb.  Each pathway combines old with new awards and supports on average 50% of residential fees.

Leadership coaching, work experience, access to employer connections are also part of our plan.  The pathway includes:

  • The Robb College Foundation Sinclair-Wilson Scholarship
  • The Robb College Foundation Irvine Scholarship
  • The Robb College Foundation Leaders Scholarship
  • The Robb College Foundation Darren Ellis Memorial Scholarship
  • The Robb College Foundation Wal and Pam Whalley Senior Fellows Scholarship
  • The Robb College Foundation Sports Leader Scholarship

The Robb College Scholarship Appeal is vital in building our students'  confidence and career opportunities while helping to keep the College strong.  These pathways will help them strive for excellence, realise their potential and surprise even themselves.

Your donations are tax deductible, they are invested and managed by the UNE Foundation.   Funds are allocated to the students' residential fee accounts in accordance with our agreement with the UNE Foundation and the University of New England. Every donation towards Robb College is allocated to Robb College residents or Robb College capital items only.

Private Ancillary Funds (PAF)

UNE welcomes gifts from your Private Ancillary Fund (PAF), these gifts must be made to the University of New England rather than to the UNE Foundation directly. To discuss giving via a PAF please either call (02) 6773 2870 or email the Office of Advancement via advance@une.edu.au for more information and to discuss your donation with our dedicated Advancement team.

Gifts and donations of $2 and over are tax deductible under Division 30 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.  The UNE Foundation is endorsed as a Deductable Gift Recipient (DGR).
