Meet Catherine

Hi, I’m Catherine. I’m currently undertaking Honours research (online) in political rhetoric.
I’m passionate about helping fellow students build their confidence across both the technical and academic sides of UNE life. As a Media and Communications student, I have experience across a host of HASSE units (including WRIT, COMM, and ENGL), alongside prior experience in Education and Business. Based on the Sunshine Coast, I understand the pressures that come with balancing family, study, and work. 
I am a proactive problem-solver, and can help you to:
Connect with UNE services and support, break down assignment instructions and marking rubrics, map out your research and writing strategies, take the stress out of referencing (particularly MLA, but also AGPS, Chicago, and APA), use Zotero as a reference library, utilise UNE’s AI platform, Madgwick Student.
