Admission to Candidature: has a new rule (d) which requires those admitted under either rule/s b or c to also successfully complete a language proficiency placement assessment to commence language study at 200 level or above. This admission rule is necessary because the program of study for these cohorts (see details below) now commences with the study of language at 200 level which is necessary in order to meet NESA accreditation requirements.

Students who could have been admitted under rules b or c, who want to add Language as a teacher area and who need to commence the language at 100 level (as they do not have existing language proficiency) should refer to the Bachelor of Education (In-Service Conversion) this is confirmed in the Course Overview.
